Mexican Art - Fashion and Home Inspiration
I took the above left photo while I was visiting the Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago this past summer. As I was looking at some future trends in fashion and home, I noticed a similarity of color mixing and ethnic patterning to the painting I photographed. None of the patterns were really bold, or maybe they were just shy of bold, with the mixing in of taupes and neutrals to keep the designs usable and light. Visually eclectic yet colorfully muted at the same time.
