Lanark Louis - Braille Wall-covering

I am so proud to introduce a new embossed wall-covering design from Lanark called Louis. I designed this pattern in partnership with the National Federation of the Blind in order to bring awareness to the history of Braille, and how it can open up worlds for the blind and people with low vision. The 30 embossed words represent qualities of the human spirit that we all possess and strive to implement in our lives. These words, such as empathy, compassion and love, can be experienced as a learning tool through touch, as Louis is the first interactive wall-covering of its kind. I hope this design brings a sense of connection to us all through the words and the experience itself. For more information on the National Federation for the Blind https://nfb.org/
