A Table Made of Wood is just that. The artist, Gord Peteran, assembled wood scraps from his studio into a table where each piece of wood retains its individuality. Peteran invented the work "Furnitural" - a combination of furniture and sculptural- to describe his work. The term captures his interest in material, technique, and form, as well as the history and the very idea of furniture. Photographed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
