Iridescent Blue-Green

The Fall and Spring runways have shown a variety of color trends, from earth bound neutrals to retro-80's brights. Teal shades have been popular for a while now and the trend continues but with a elegant twist. More than just a hue of color, this luxe effect is luminescent, similar to the shimmery plumes of a peacock. This iridescent blue-green shade shines in silk, satin and metal. With rich interference effects the color mimics a glistening Caribbean sea or the wings of a butterfly. Ethereal and showy, yes. But sometimes bold can be beautiful.
