Recycled Patchwork

In the Fall of 2008 I attended the Maison Object Decorative Home show in Paris. I photographed a chair which stood out compared to the other furniture showcased. It was upholstered with scraps of contrasting fabric. Since then I have seen more and more recycled patchwork looks. This is not the old patchwork of the 70's or even the 90's, the looks have more of an artistic flair but still with a handcraft vintage feel. From fashion to furniture the "reuse" trend adds a fun and eco-friendly aspect to interiors and outfits.
