Design Focus: Joy

Joy is a modern overall print design found in our Lanark Reaction decorative collection. Inspired by soft and contoured oval shapes found in architecture and fashion, Joy is light, fresh and fun. I wanted to design a pattern that was part stripe, part texture. I ended up using the oval shape as shadow and faded out the edges to create a diffused look. In the end I was able to create a bubbly, airy and spa like feel. A very joyful experience!
