Marimekko Flagship Store NYC

While in New York City this week I was able to visit the new Marimekko store on 5th and 23rd. The store showcased more than just their traditional home linens and bedding. At their new flagship location you are able to purchase yardage of a huge range of their signature patterns, dishware, bags and even children's and women's clothing. The classic bold Marimekko colors and designs enliven the whole entire space. As I see more and more 70's retro designs being used in fashion, this revival of Marimekko just confirms this emerging trend. See more at http://us.marimekko.com/
