Pending is a sculpture by Charlotte Potter created of metal and hand-engraved glass cameos (with facial images of pending friendships courtesy of her Facebook account). Using cameo glass to create small scale portraits similar to what was originated in ancient Rome, Potter adopts this age-old technique to create floating "profiles"seen as three dimensional clusters that are interconnected via shadows and light.
