Trend Focus ICFF - Extruded Materials

Netherlands designer Dirk Vander Kooij uses a system that involves a large robot similar to the MakerBot but uses a head to dispense plastic and "print" larger furnishings for the home. Vander Kooij uses recycled plastic from old refrigerators to create products such as chairs, lamps and clothes hangers. Seen at the ICFF show in NYC in May.
