While in San Antonio I was able to tour and listen to the creative direction of the new retail, living and restaurant development called the Pearl District. Staying true to the city's authentic history, the Pearl blends together a neighborhood, a marketplace and a community into a unique Texas destination. Supportive of historical conservation, the designers of the Pearl re-used the old Pearl Brewery complex as their core design inspiration.
