Tangerine

Orange has been an extremely popular color in the design world for many years now. Depending on how you view it, orange is either cutting edge and fun or overused and dated. (To each their own). There is a new orange shade on the scene though and it is more global and fresher than those used in the past. Inspired by Peruvian textiles and fashion seen on the Spring 2010 and 2011 runways, this new hue, which I call Tangerine, is clean, light and juicy. A new global orange for these global times.
