As someone who works with texture, color and metallic inks, I am always inspired by beautiful historical creations such as these Roman glass vases. The layers of iridescent hues merge light and metal together creating subtle details and that are virtually impossible to recreate. Photographed at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
