Royal Modern - Alexander McQueen

 

New royalty for a modern age. Alexander McQueen always borders on the edge of costume but never goes there. Though influenced by a variety of time periods the styles and shapes always stay current. The looks for the Pre-Fall collection featured damask patterns in a beautiful steel grey and soft white palette. Bolero shapes, slim long skirts plus an over the top cape just add to the drama. Very inspiring!
