Sinuous- Eva Hild, MFA Boston

Sinuous is a hand coiled clay sculpture created by artist Eva Hild in 2010. Instead of making a functional vessel, Hild has shaped a permeable structure. She explains that her ceramics embody" the dualism between inside and outside...The shape consists of continuously flowing inner and outer services." Sinuou's edges are almost like a Mobius strip, tracing a path that has no clear beginning or end. Photographed at the MFA Boston. http://www.evahild.com/
